Administering an Estate After Death

If a person becomes deceased (with a will), then there is a process when administering the estate, commonly referred to as probate. Probate is a court process to validate and prove (probate) the authenticity of the will as being the last will and testament of the deceased. Through this process, an Estate Trustee /Administrator is appointed.

If a person becomes deceased without having prepared a will, there is a different process for administering an estate. Assets are then distributed according to government rules involving next of kin.

Our law offices are currently in the process of arranging to provide legal services to clients to assist in the administering an estate after death. Further information will be forthcoming as we continue to develop this website.
